A Voice for Children
Vienna Town Hall – November 20, 2025
The Concert
The Concert for Children's Rights is, in this format, a unique benefit event in support of children's rights organizations. It is dedicated not only to the protection but, above all, to the promotion of children's rights around the world, and it is exemplary: With combined efforts, four regional and international children's rights organizations contribute to its success.
Pianist Albert Frantz and the renowned Vienna Boys Choir as well as their counterpart, the Vienna Girls Choir, have set themselves the goal, through their joint artistic work, to draw attention to the impressive work of organizations that are committed to a better future for children.

Our Motivation
The global extent of violence is alarming: An estimated one billion children and adolescents worldwide are affected by physical, sexual, or psychological violence. Three out of four children between the ages of two and four experience violence at the hands of caregivers.
When we think of violence against children and adolescents, we typically first think of physical abuse. However, violence against children has many faces.
In addition to physical abuse, there are other forms of violence, such as neglect, sexual assault, financial exploitation, and psychological violence. Children often experience multiple forms of violence simultaneously.
Experiences of violence, regardless of kind, have an enormous impact on children's health and development.
Violence is often an invisible problem:
- Because it happens behind closed doors.
- Because people turn a blind eye to it.
- Because victims don't report it out of fear or shame.
